Frequently Asked Questions

The Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) will vary depending on your selected material color, item size, and the on stock availability of your particular item configuration.

Stock tubes and boxes have a one box/pack minimum. Pieces per box/pack vary by size.

For most cut-to-length tubes the minimum order is 500 to 1,000 pieces, depending on the tube diameter and/or length.

We offer Same-Day Shipping on some of our in-stock items for web orders placed before 2PM (CT) M-F on normal business days

Orders for stock items received via fax, email, or phone will typically ship within 2-3 business days.

Made-to-Order Dip Molded Vinyl Products from stock materials usually ship within 10-12 business days.

Made-to-order Beckett Packaging products usually ship within 8-10 weeks.

Orders for custom-length open-ended Extruded Tubes ship within three weeks. Sealed-bottom tubes and hanging tubes ship within four weeks.

Secondary Operations such as Printing, Punching or Slicing require an additional 5-7 business days added to the above lead times for each operation.

Contact Customer Service if you require a more specific delivery date, or to discuss the lead times of items produced from special order materials.

Net 30 Day terms are available to most new customers after review and acceptance of a simple Credit Application.
We also accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express, money orders, wire transfers and company checks.

Most orders are shipped via UPS.

All state and local taxes are charged for orders shipping to any of the following states: AK, AL, AR, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI.

Sales tax will not be collected in the following states (either because the state doesn't not have a sales tax, or because Cleartec Packaging does not have nexus in that state): AZ, CT, DC, DE, HI, KS, ME, MS, MT, ND, NH, NM, OR, SD, WV, WY.

For orders shipped to Canada: IT DEPENDS.

Orders shipped via UPS will have the 5% GST charged at time of order, and all duties and brokerage fees will be included in your shipping costs. (This only applies to orders that are shipped "prepaid and add". For orders shipped collect, the receiver will be the importer of record and will be responsible for all taxes and fees).

For orders shipped via other carriers (i.e freight line or USPS) the receiver will be the importer of record and will be responsible for all taxes, duties, and fees.

For orders shipped to Mexico: NO.

The receiver will be the importer of record, so taxes and duties will be collected at time of delivery.

If you are planning on having your order shipped to a US carrier (who will then handle the delivery across the border), be sure to submit paperwork to verify the order's tax exempt status. Otherwise, you may be charged sales tax for the destination state. You may contact your sales rep to set you up with permanent tax-exempt status before placing your order. Otherwise, you will receive an email requesting a copy of the Bill of Lading shortly after your order is shipped.

We strongly suggest requesting samples of our product before ordering, so that you may verify the part will work as expected for your particular application.

CLEARTEC OPEN ENDED TUBES AND SEALED BOTTOM CONTAINERS as well as any other Made-to-Order Products cannot be returned unless defective.

Stock Items may be returned, however, all returns of re-saleable stock products are subject to a minimum $50.00 handling/re-stocking fee. Returns of stock items must be pre-approved and sent freight prepaid.

No returns will be accepted on non-stock or special order items.

Broken package quantities and out-going freight costs are not credited.

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Cleartec Packaging offers punching, slicing, one-colour silkscreen and pad printing, assembly and fulfillment.

For open ended and sealed bottom tubes, the minimum length of the tube must be equal to or greater than the nominal size of the tube. There is no maximum length.

For flat sealed hanging tubes, the minimum overall length is 4" and the maximum overall length is 17".

To cut tubes to your desired length(s), a standard paper cutter with a guillotine-style blade is the preferred method. Placing the tube as close to the beginning of the blade and making a fast, swift cut will result in a clean segment. Although a pinch mark might appear on the tube where the blade goes though the material, after application of a closure, it is visibly undetectable.

Dip Molded Caps, Plugs, Grips and Closures are made from flexible vinyl PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride). Cleartec Packaging offers many variations of flexible PVC materials, including general purpose glossy, hi-temp resistant, UV resistant and textured.

Plastic Injection Molded Items are typically made from HDPE, LDPE and PP resins, although Cleartec Packaging can process other resins upon request.

Cleartec Extruded Tubes are made from PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol). Our tube closures are made from one of the following: The inner-fit plugs are made from PP (Polypropylene), and the exterior fit caps are made from PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride). Note that not all materials are compatible with these plastics. The responsibility lies with the purchaser to determine that any product or material used with our plastics are compatible.

Beckett Tubes and Boxes are made from PP (Polypropylene), HDPE (High Density Polyethylene), and from PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride).
